Today is May 21st, 2019 and we are driving down Hwy 90 East.  It is 6:44 p.m.
First I have to ask, "Where in hell did spring go to?"  We left this morning at 9 from Spearfish, S.D in the torrent rain.  At Rapid City, in the rain, we detoured to Hill City to stop and get some wine.  We left the rain outside of Rapid City and ran into snow all the way to Hills City.  Coming back up to Rapid city we followed a snow plow to get us out of the hills.  The snow must have been at least 8 inches thick.  I don't think it has ever gotten over 45 degrees and the wind has been bitter cold.  Coming back out of Rapid City we ran into torrent rain again and 300 miles later it is still raining like mad.
Mother Nature must be pissed at those small, little annoying humans and she is trying to wash us off of her front yard.  If water isn't working she's going to whirl them off with a tornado.  Watch your back!!
And who said global warming?  We have been freezing our tushies since we left home.  There are huge puddles, lakes and rivers overflowing their banks all the way up the corridor.
I will put up some pictures that are not very good, we are traveling 65 mph and it is grey and cloudy out there and there are rain drops all over the window.  But just to give you and idea.

These are the snow pics on our way to and from Hill's City, SD

These are the ones of the flooding.  Not really good but you might get the idea.  It's pretty bad, especially for the farmer and rancher.

I wasn't quick enough here.  This is a plowed field that was covered with water all over.

So we actually left Pasco on the 16th and went over Lolo Pass.  We go by the Clearwater River in Idaho.  That is some of the prettiest scenery along that river.  We ended up in Butte, Montana.

We started out with clouds and mist covering the tops of the hills.

And ended with clouds and mist in the hills

Lookin' for love in all the green places!!
