Today is May 28th.  We have been in Delta since Sunday.  It is thunder and lightening right at the moment so I am typing as fast as I can just in case.

We rearranged a few things today and went to dinner with Marty's first born, Craig at the American Saloon.  Nice restaurant, good food, nice time.

So where did I leave off??  Ah yes, so on the 19th we left Cody, WY to 37 degree weather.  There was fog in the trees  We passed through Dayton, population 757.  We have been here before.  We are heading to Miles City, MT.

Coming out of Sheridan, WY we came across the red hills.  The first time I saw these I was in awe.  They were absolutely beautiful and so red, I had never seen red hills before.  Especially against the green of the fields, the colors are so rich looking.  We are going through Big Horn National Forest.  Along the way are signs that tell you the kind of rock it is and how old it is, it is pretty amazing.

We kept winding our way up hill and around the water fall that was in the crook of a turn.

On ward and up ward it started to snow.

Then it really started to snow!!!

It was so deep it was almost to the top of the 4 foot high fence.

Someone had a sense of humor

Coming back down the other side we ran out of snow.

And into Longhorn steer

Some buildings that needed help

Silhouttes on the hill

A few deer

And some long ass highways.  Some were as long as 10 miles straight.  Marty clocked them as we were going down.

This next part is for my brother Terry, however you are more than welcome to look also.  Terry and I took a trip to MT. and coming back from Little Bighorn we passed this town that had pink huge pipes running across the road into the town and a plant of some such.  I was always sorry I didn't stop to check it out.  Well, this time Marty and I did.  It is called Colstrip and that is exactly what it does.  I am not sure how it all goes so I need to do some research.  But this pink pipe runs for miles down this road, connected to stuff from here to there.  And it all ends up at the processing plant that is beside the town.

These scoops were HUGE

Town

And on the other side of the road

we found some treasures

This was a long one, I hope you weren't too bored.

Love to all
