Today is July 8th

Haven't been out much the last couple of days but making a little progress in the attic and second floor.  It rained yesterday and we got to sleep with the windows open to catch some nice cool breeze.  Actually needed and extra blankie, it was so nice.  Not bad out today either.

Found a hot air balloon in the sky and a couple of yellow birds but that's about it.  So, that is all I have for you today.  Blackie, the camera, is acting up a bit.  Trying to get it in for repairs, so we will see.  Used 56, the camera, for some of the shots.  Has to be the guy behind the camera where the problems lie for clarity.

I forgot about this little brat.  It took him awhile to figure out how to get down to the bag of bird seeds.  He'd try and then he would go back up to the top of the post and he sat there and twitch his tail.  Finally he figured it out and he is chewing holes in the netting.  He thinks he is pretty clever.

After he ate a little he decided he would stop to rest in this position.  He just hung there for the longest time.   

I don't think I told you, we went back to Eden Mill the other night.  We have been there before and I posted pictures but it is a different time of the year this time.  A lovely place, we were to late to catch any birds.  And the visitor center was closed, but that was all right.

 Ain't Mother Nature grand, pinky purple and orange.
