Today is June 20th
We spent the day around Delta and some parts unknown. Started out by going and getting my locks curled by Sara Perecinsky. A nice gal and a darn good hairdresser. Twice I have come from WA. to get my hair done.
Talk about being photo bombed
Anyway, down the road we go. We were looking for a newly planted tobacco field that Marty saw, but we drove by it. So instead of turning around we turned down another road. Here we found what we surmised were squash plants.
If you follow us you know I do cat pictures around the US!! Or where ever I can find them. Most of the time it is the back end of the cat you see but some times I get lucky.
This guy was just around the corner. He was standing in a field waiting for me to take his picture but he got tired of me trying to focus in on him so he got up and flew away.
Here is a couple of beauties.
We came around another corner to this old barn. I also have a weakness for old barns. I bet I have 150 or more old barn pictures and still collecting.
We finally came across a newly planted tobacco field. We will keep you up to date on the growth. Something you always wanted to know
They have dandelions too.
Then we headed off to Holtwood Dam and Lock 12 to check on the level of the water. It was much lower than the last time I was here. There is this lovely little water falls on the road into the dam.
Marty in her element
We left there and went to Musser's grocery and got lunch to eat on the road, then through Quarryville and Coal Rain Township. Looking for farmers in the fields.
Junction of 472 we stopped at the Union Presbyterian Church.
We sat down at a picnic table to eat lunch. Looking across the field see what we saw.
He is waving to someone way across the field.
And taking a rest while waiting.
Lo and behold, look who it is. Check out his hat, it is extremely well worn. Isn't he just adorable!
Big brother unhitches the wagon and drives this 6 UP home like a pro
It was a busy day for us all.
SO, I am going to leave you here and I will finish off the day tomorrow. It's getting late
Until next time
Love to all

This little guy was out also. He was going along and then he pulled the handle and fertilizer went flying out the back of the wagon.
It was a busy day for us all.
Until next time
