Today is October 27th

Today we left York, Maine, traveled south and took pictures as we went.  So I am just going to post the pictures and maybe jot a note or two since I apparently didn't have anything to say in my travel book other than where we were headed to.

We saw deer!!
 and eagles

Kennebunk, don't you love that name?
We took the scenic road to Ogunquit.  Love that name also.  Ogunquit!

And on to Biddeford and Saco.

There see to be a lot of large brick buildings in this town, at least down the road we went.  Isn't that view of the church and town across the river lovely.

Heading to South Portland we find Fort Williams and Cape Elizabeth.

Cape Elizabeth

Check out the story of Cape Elizabeth on Wikipedia.  I would post it but it was pretty long.

I have a note that we went to the Nubble Lighthouse but for some reason I can't find any pictures.  It is a pretty one on a rock formation off of the coast.  This is NOT my picture.  Just one I found.  It was taken by Dosgood@English Wikipedia.

And finally, we tried to get around Boston.  It was raining, sometimes so hard you could not see the road.  It took us an hour to get 3/4 the way around Boston.

Until next time

Love to all
