Today is October 26th.
We spent the night in Haverhill, Mass.  We went to visit Marty's relatives at their house and left at 1:30.  From there we headed toward Salem, Mass.

We visited the house of seven gables made famous by American author Nathaniel Hawthorne's novel The House of Seven Gables.

We took a tour inside, it was okay.  I can't show you any pictures because they were not allowed.  You have to go see if for yourself.

We were going to the Salem witch house but there was not one spot to park, close or far.  They were having a city wide Halloween party that night.  It seems Salem is the place to be on or near Halloween if you want excitement, and everyone knows that but us.

then off to Topsville so we can get onto Route 1 and take it to Portland Maine.  Off Rt 1at Newbury toward Plum Island and the Atlantic Ocean.

Then cross New Hampshire-Seabrook-N.Hampshire to York, Maine.

We ate dinner at Ruby's and stayed at a Best Western in York.
