Hello again, it's me, finally.  It is Monday and it rained like mad this morning.  Now the sun is out, most of the snow is gone and yesterday I was out in just a sweatshirt it was so nice.  Can spring be far behind?
Marty and I went back to Yakima on the 17th for about an hour, but sadly we had to come back home.  Her mom had just passed and she needed to get back home to Penn.  So sad, Jane was a sweet lady.  I am so glad I had the chance to meet her.  Love and prayers to the family.

And now it is Saturday.  The funeral was Thursday.  Talked to Marty and she is doing okay.  She will be staying in Delta for a bit.  Will be glad to have her back home.

Today is October 10th.
We stayed home for most of the day and then went to Marty's brother Jimmy's house where I got to meet his family

I found these two in the back yard.  There were birds and squirrels and ground hogs.  Lovely back yard.

Oct 11th
Rolling hills and farm land, how grand!

Then we headed off down Pylesville St. and detoured to Indian Steps.
Those road names just slay me 😁😁😁

Indian Steps was a lovely little park on the edge of a Clark Lake which runs into the Susquehanna River down stream.

From here we went to Red Lion to have lunch with Marty's sister in law and her niece.  After lunch we headed off to York to visit Marty's Aunt Grace.  I don't remember how old she is, older, but she has a sharp mind, wow, and a real hoot.

After Grace's we headed down to Lancaster, Strasburg Park Highway, made a U-turn and headed back to 30 East to an Amish house and farm they have on display.  It was actually in the middle of a little shopping center.  (I'm not sure about our above travel agenda or remember the reason for the U-turn.  It's the notes I have in my book so it must be true.)

 Hyacinth Beans, ain't they pretty.

Fake cows!!!!

Wait a minute, I know that face!~!

What a beauty

 CAT!!!

From here we went to Boscov's.  It is like Penney's here.  I sure I dropped a couple of bucks here.  Hmmmm.

Then to Wendy's for dinner and onto home.  What a day!!
