Today is still September 30.
After some calculations and research I find that we actually put on 109 miles.  Love that location maps app but sometimes she had a little problem keeping up with us.
We headed of to Conowingo Dam to see if we could find eagles.

Instead we found this.  Where else are you going to find a sign like this one.

No eagles but we found this guy hanging around

I forgot to tell you yesterday that we came across a fender bender.  It was on Peepytown Rd. :):)  We giggled.  That is right up there with Pussyville Rd.  Gotta love Lancaster Co, PA.  They apparently are not at a loss for naming their roads.  Beats 1st and 2nd, right?

So then we went driving.  Up Moore Rd we came to this arch bridge that spanned across the Octoraro Creek

I loved the look of this horse so I hunted down his owner in the store.  The horse is a Dutchhorn breed.  He is quite a handful and he doesn't like women.  He was sure a beauty.  He was standing at Peach Bottom Consignment

Then we headed down Spring Valley Rd.  Lots of farm land, Amish farms.  Large Amish farms.

This one is an Amish School house.   A one room affair and all fenced in.  And close to other places.

This young lad was picking corn along side the road, and he would put it in his cart.  Didn't see anyone else with him.

A tobacco barn.  The slats are open for air circulation to dry out the leaves.

Just in case you've lost hope, here is a road full of it.

This was all I could get of the attic.

One of the covered bridges.  Baumgardener's Covered Bridge on Byerland Church Rd.

This house was just past the bridge sitting on the corner of Byerland Church Rd. and Creek Rd.

And back home to Delta passed those lovely row houses.  I'm not sure they have back yards but I know they don't have front yards.  And some are just a block or so down from city center.  Coming home later in the day you see people sitting out on their front steps and people walking down the street.  A whole lot of the roads are one way and skinny.  If you live in one of these houses you probably pay hell getting a parking spot at night when you get home from work.  One might think you lived on my street.  I go through that all the time.

So this ends Sept. 30 and a good night.

Until next time

Love to all
