Happy New Year

Today is September 28th and we are leaving Maumee-Toledo, Ohio area.  And it is raining hard.  It is hard to see out of the window.  We are just traveling today but did stop and get some cool pictures, touristy, but cool.

 Lousy picture but you can see the rain clouds that followed us for a time.

 My first Amish sighting.  I took his pic and he put his head down in time.  They do not like a picture taken of their face as it would be a graven image and they do not believe in that. 

 

It is just a couple of days until Halloween.  Boy, everyone decorates with pumpkins, and there is an abundance of fields of pumpkins all over.  We came across this maze on the side of the road.  There was a bus load of little children that had been playing in the maze.  And I bet they had other games also.

Look at that landscape, it's big and green.

 You can't read this one but it says we are coming into Paris.  Imagine that, we made it to France.

 Check out this silo, ain't that cool.

 We passed E Liverpool, Calcutta, E Palestine and Lisbon.  Do we know how to travel or not?

Then we came to Toronto.  Were we in Canada?

 Check out that stairway.  Not for me!!!!!

 I don't know, might have been a bridge to somewhere

And then we hit Steubenville, Ohio.  Oh my, the churches and old houses and buildings.  Just grand for this little girl from Washington State.

Oh hey, look what I found on the side of the street.

We stopped for the night in Cumberland.  I do like that word, Cumberland.

We have traveled 441 miles today and 3476 miles in total.
