It is still September 27th. When we got in the car this morning we have traveled 2772 miles.
I left you in Muskegon, Michigan at the USS Silversides Museum. We left there around 1:30 and went back to Lake Michigan to check it out again. It is called Pere Marquette Park. It was quite windy and the waves were whipping up pretty high. It was almost as exciting as being at the ocean. We continued on to Marne, Michigan where we got gas and on our way!!!! We hit the outer part of Grand Rapids, what a lovely town. The area we were in had beautiful homes, manicured lawns. I was told it was a university town. Past Wyoming, Kentwood, Lansing, Nashville (Yes, Nashville, Michigan) to Jackson past Cement City and on to Hudson where I evidently started taking pictures.
Taken coming out of Lansing, Michigan
I have no idea why I have some of these following pictures. We were traveling down Hwy 127 also called Meridian Rd south of Hudson.. I think the first one was my first encounter with a large 2 story house on a large piece of grass. Little did I know what was in store for these old eyes down the highway.
Look at this one, all of the bling. It was just marvelous to look at. And it was for sale, also. This was also on Meridian Rd.
These were south of Hudson and taken out of a traveling car.
This one was outside of Prattville a little past Lime Creek Rd.
These were past W Ridgeville Rd. between Prattville and Waldron, Michigan.
Oh look, we made it to Ohio.
That is probably one of the very few state signs I have pictures of. We were usually going 60 mph and I didn't know they were coming up.😀
We went on to Toledo, Ohio and then to Maumee, Ohio to get a room and eat dinner. We ate at Max and Erma's. If I remember correctly we had a real nice steak there.
So I will leave you in Maumee until next time.
The pics have pretty much been tourist pics. Hopefully one day I will show you a masterpiece :):)
Love to All
