Last day for Yellowstone. All of the bubbly stuff was a little intimidating. The sounds were grand. All that steam and popping, and it does it all day.
The red shouter had a grey on right beside it.
OLD FAITHFUL
I FOUND THIS ONE A LITTLE ANTI CLIMATIC. THERE WAS A SLUG OF PEOPLE SITTING ON BENCHES AND STANDING BEHIND THE BENCHES JUST WAITING FOR IT TO GO. AND I MEAN A SLUG OF PEOPLE. THEN IT STARTED TO SPOUT, SOME PEOPLE OHHED AND AWED AND IT WAS OVER.
Isa Lake is believed to be the only natural lake in the world which drains to two different oceans.[3] The east side of the lake drains by way of the Lewis River to the Pacific Ocean and the west side of the lake drains by way of the Firehole River to the Atlantic Ocean.[5] This is the opposite of what one would expect since the Atlantic Ocean is east of the lake and the Pacific Ocean is to the west
