I am posting more pictures of Yellowstone.  What a grand place with many wonders.  I hope you enjoy.

This is the Gibbon River.  It was the first place that we encountered the steam coming out of the ground.  THE SMELL!!!!  Sulfur and rotten eggs but it was pretty darn cool.

These pools were marvelous and the color fantastic.  But they were boiling, literally,

and the noise from the steam coming out of the hole was loud.

 below are sulfur flats.  Nothing will grow on this ground.

 Bubbling mud!!
