Traveling down highway 12 we reached the Alpowa Summit.  Alpowa is at the bottom on the other side,  I had to look it up :)

Not much there to look at but striking in it's own beauty.

Then farther down we came to the Clearwater River

The mist lays on the top of the hills like a white fluffy pillow.

And the rocks are blanketed in a covering of soft green moss.

From the corner of Paradise and Walnut you can see the hills.

Down around the corner we are closer to the Clearwater River.  Around each turn in the highway is a different spectacular view.

At this rate we will be here all day.  What beauty!!!
