Left Apalachicola, Florida this morning and headed west. Our ultimate goal is to reach New Orleans. So we finally got out of Florida and made it across Alabama, Mississippi and into Louisiana all in one day. Found a room in Slidell. Ate dinner at a Cheddars, the steak was good, the rest of the meal left some to be desired.
Didn't get many pictures but I will show you the ones from today just because.

This is the bridge going into Apalachicola. We went over it at night but went back this morning to check it out.

The beach sand is actually white. We passed white dunes today. Impressive
