Left Slidell this morning and headed to New Orleans, I think that is pronounced Nawleans. Say that with an accent.
Driving into the city I see some nice looking brick houses, 2 story, bottom brick, top stick built. Lots and lots of solar panels. Bridges and over passes every where. We came across the longest bridge. And there were 2 more off to the side of us. Water, water everywhere.
See that black strip in the back, that is a small part of the bridge next to us.
Don't have a pickup camper, but a boat? Here is how you go camping on the water, who'd of thought!!
I must lead a pretty sheltered life. I always thought of New Orleans as the house with the pretty railings on it and plants hanging down, you know, you seen it in the movies?
Well, low and behold, this is what I found. Where did the dam city come from?
It was huge. BIG buildings, people, cars!!!!!!!
Hardly any people in the streets.
Then someone opened the flood gate.
Some other observations I made.
And last but not least.
This dude was in the bathroom staring at me!!
Who could go with someone watching?
Love to all, until next time
