Hello from Pooler, Georgia

Last night we stayed in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  We left Petersburg, S.C. yesterday and got to Myrtle Beach that night.  I must say, when we crossed from North Carolina into South Carolina I felt S.C. had a different feel to it.  Can't say what it was but it was there.  We were chastised a couple of times and run out of a wildlife refuge.  I am sure they are a friendly lot but not so much the ones we meet.  I was glad when we crossed into Georgia.

So, what I am going to show you tonight are some of the things we saw in S.C.

These first 2 are of a cotton field that I think had been picked already because it was pretty sparse.

The next three are another field that was full and white and fluffy.

In the medians next to the off ramps of the highway are groves of nice looking trees.  I like the looks of the trunks so that's what you got!!

We came across this cool looking swampy spot of the side of the road.

We went to the Bentonville Battlefield.  Not as big as Gettysburg but a nice area.

We went through the houses in Myrtle beach that were affected by the storm.  They are still cleaning up.  Lots of garbage, but in piles, waiting to be picked up.  Debris and trees that were knocked down.  There was beach sand where it shouldn't have been.  It must have been quite devastating for these people.

Coning down 95 South there were broken trees all along the highway.

It is midnight once again.  Love to all, until next time.
