COUNTING TODAY, 27 MORE "SLEEPS" UNTIL THE BIG ADVENTURE.  HOORAY!!

So, while we are hanging out may I offer you some of our older works.  The following come from the
Walla Walla area, Five Mile Drive, Seven Mile Drive, up Scenic Route and down the other side.  There are not many roads in that area that we have not been on.  It is lovely country, especially in the spring when the hills are green and rolling.

If you travel down Mill Creek Road you come to Blue Creek Road on the left hand side.  Take the road and it takes you up the mountain until you come to Five Points.  It is where roads converge.  If you go down the really steep side you come across this lovely.

Across the road fromr this attraction is an obvious deer trail that leads up the hill.  This building is next to a homestead.  These fortunate people probably get to see deer all the time.

Although, if you are growing a garden to sustain your family when you are that far from town, seeing deer in your yard is probably not a happy occasion.  There are some pretty tall fences around some of the gardens.

If you go to the right at Five Points that puts you on Blacksnake Ridge Road.  The scenery off of this road is spectacular, unless you are the passenger in the car and on the STEEP side of the road and have a thing for heights.  At least coming down you can relax.

We didn't go any farther than the road you see.  When brother Terry Hanson and I went up this road I stopped to ask where it went and was told that farther down the end was a party spot with glass and nails in the road and it would probably not be a good place to go, so we turned around and came back down.

This is the same tree stump.  One in the spring, one in the hot summer.  I just thought it was cool.

There was so much more to see, but I will save it for another time.  Thank you for stopping by to follow our adventures.  Please leave a comment if you feel so inclined.  I would love to hear your thoughts on our first attempt at blogging.  (Please be kind! :)
