Hello to all
June 26th we made it to Niagara Falls.

This is the boat from the Canadian side of the Falls.

We went into the USA store where Marty booked us on a tour bus, which in my opinion, is the only way to go if you have never been there before.

Our first stop was the Maid of the Mist boat.  They gave us large blue garbage bags with head and armholes to put over our clothes.  We boarded the boat and headed to the horseshoe falls, passing the American side falls.  Once in the center of the horseshoe we sat and bobbled for a bit and got pictures as best you can when you have constant rain coming down on you.

The water just roars.  It is pretty exciting to see and hear.
Then back up to the top of the falls where we head off to The Cave of the Winds.

Now if you remember how I complain about preconceived notions, the cave of the winds will get ya.  It is not a cave and the only wind is the wind coming off of the water falls as it's roaring down the hill.  But it too was pretty cool.  They take you to a building where they give you cheap rubber sandals, you get to take them home, and lead you down a ramp to the outside past dozens of seagulls.
Up the hill you walk and then up the steps, and up and up.  You are right under where the water fall is coming down.  Talk about a good shower.  You have a yellow garbage bag on here but it didn't help, I was soaked.

You are wading in water about and inch or 2 deep, see why the sandals?  I do now!!
This is your other host that you never get to see and very seldom hear from.  Check out those shoes, and we got to bring them home!!!

Next we went to 3 sisters, which are 3 small islands on the Niagara River and they are connected by walking bridges across to each one.

What a lovely day.  It was an experience I thoroughly enjoyed.
If you ever have the opportunity!!
