Today is October 29th
We left Fishkill, NY at 8:15 this morning. From there we headed to Weisport, south to Bordnerville, on to Chambersburg into Maryland.
It seems we are finally catching up to the real fall colors.
There is mist covering the hills and valleys. It is good to get up early in the morn.
A stop off at Raymondskill Creek on Raymondskill Road.
Then we spot a dirt road on Raymondskill Rd. And what a treasure we did find!
Not sure what it used to be but it was a beauty. Look at those bricks.
Hitting highway 209 S we run into Dingman Falls
Apparently there is quite a falls somewhere in close proximity but it happened to be closed for the winter. I guess no one cares to see it year round.
Coming back onto the highway I picked this one up for Michelle Sturges.
and it was hunting season for birds, I think. There were hunters all over the right side of the road in fields tromping around and we could here the occasional shotgun.
Of course, these boys got their limits.
This was on 209, full of treasures, I am sure.
These were taken in Weissport but I have to say I don't remember them. Might have been an out of body experience.
We have these fuzzy headed ducks in our area also.
These were at the corner of Clamtown and Pa Dep Rd.
And then we came to Antietam
But I will leave that for tomorrow.
Until next time
Love to all
