I am a little behind.  I have been caught by creeping crud and it ain't pretty.  So let's see if we can't catch up a little.

I left you at the Shell Falls Center outside of Cody, Wy. and heading into a pass.  The walls on both sides were rock, tall and wonderful.

Check out the color on this wall,  Isn't nature marvelous.

Along the way were signs telling us about the rocks, what they were.
Up to this point we hadn't seen any animals in amongst the rocks.  But someone had and left the bones as a testament.

Having reached what I guess would have been the top we came upon this picturesque site.  I love a man in a uniform, and jeans and chaps qualify in my book :):)

We stopped for a bite to eat in this nice looking place in the middle of nowhere.
 Aren't they cute?

As we sat there looking out the window we watched the fog roll in.

and a few deer, also.
As we started on down the pass the fog had really set in.  It seemed like we traveled for a good while but I think it was just because we were going slow because we could hardly see past the front of the car.  We stopped at a lake and took some pictures with the fog.

It was pretty cool!!

We came through Dayton, population 757 and
Ranchester, population 855.  That is just a side note I thought was interesting with the big cities we live in.
And down into Sheridan, Wy. where we spent the night.

When we got up the next morning and headed out you could see the clouds laying low in the valleys below the hill tops.  My, my, my, isn't Wyoming grand.
