Hello from Toledo, Ohio

We stayed the night in Muskegon, Michigan and got up this morning and went to the USS Silversides Submarine Museum.  That was the sub that my dad served on during WWII.  He was a master torpedo man.

It was pretty interesting.  We went down into the sub to check it out.  I only got a little way and had a claustrophobic attack so Marty went the rest of the way and took pictures for me.  I don't know how those men did it, it was so small and tight in there.  You have to give them credit, life must have been tough.

So, I am going to post a few of the pictures I got.  Just to give you an idea.

 We went to a small zoo the day before because we arrived in town to late to go to the museum.  It was called Washington Park Zoo in Michigan City, Indiana.

The cages were made of heavy wire so it was kind of a challenge to get a good picture.
